How Much Should I Pay: 2007 Saturn Aura

Question:

Year: 2007
Make: Saturn
Model: Aura
Trim: XE, automatic
Mileage: 12,700

I’m curious what the going price on this car is. It’s available from Hertz for $15,995.

MuscleCarGuy: For a 2007 Saturn Aura XE Automatic, prices range from $14,550 (being in above average condition) to $13,850 (average condition) and $12,320 (being below average condition).

Just keep in mind that these are wholesale prices. At Wholesale prices, rental cars have lower market value, because people usually are scared to buy previous rental vehicle, and this is something that will show on any Carfax report. However I agree that most people don’t do regular maintenance and wash as well as any Rental Car Company. If you can test drive the car and take to your mechanic I don’t see why you should buy a rental car. Just try to negotiate as much as you can, because when you want to sell the car, most people won’t think the same way you do. It is like a car that has a Salvage title from theft recovery. The car might be brand new but has a Salvage title, which in your case it is Previous Rental.
