How Much Should I Pay: 2000 Honda CRV

Question: Do you think is a good deal?

2000 Honda CRV EX AWD SUV - Only 45,000 Miles - Black - $85

Moving to Forest Hills from Upstate NY and must sell one of two cars. We have a Honda CRV 2000 EX that we purchased new. It has a ton of options including roof rack, CD Player w/ Cassette Player (Honda Installed), newer tires, remote starter, tinted windows, AC, etc. IT HAS ONLY 45,000 miles and is currently stored in Upstate N.Y. Will be bringing it to NYC during the week of December 17, 2007.

The car was in an accident back in 2000 when it was new but was fully repaired by Honda dealership and we have had no problems. Runs trouble free and entire body looks great as it has been kept in a garage during those famous Upstate winters. Do not miss this great opportunity!!! If you are interested please send us an email or call us at 585-709-9505. Only serious buyers! It’s priced reasonably low for a quick sale.

Below is the True Market Value for this car using Edmund’s website. Also providing Kelly’s Blue Book prices. See for yourself.

Edmund’s True Market Value:
Private Party: $8,990
Dealer Retail: $10,078

Kelly’s Blue Book:
Private Party: $9,835
Suggested Retail Value: $12,480

MuscleCarGuy:

For a 2000 Honda CRV EX AWD with 45,000 miles, prices range from $8,650 (being in above average condition) to $7,850 (average condition) and $7,050 (being below average condition).

Just keep in mind that these are wholesale prices and that is what the dealers are paying for them. You should check what was replaced on the accident that this car was involved. If the car is in good condition, you should try to negotiate for $8,000. Good Luck!!!
