How Much Should I Pay: 2007 Nissan Maxima

Question From Roene: I’am going to buy a 2007 Nissan Maxima SL in August or September
The retail price now is about $25,000 with 20,000 miles. How much lower in price will it be in 3 or 4 months. I don\’t want to pay more than $20,000. Any tips this is my first time buying from a actual dealership?
MuscleCarGuy: Hi Roene! Welcome to AutoBragBlog, where we do all the car price researching for you.
For a 2007 Nissan Maxima with 20,000 miles, prices range from $22,700 (being in above average condition) to $21,000 (being in average condition) and $19,350 (being in below average condition).
Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $21,600 to $26,000.
With the prices above we can see that is hard to get a 2007 Nissan Maxima for $20,000, but when the new redesign 2009 Nissan Maxima goes on sale next June, the prices for the 2007 will drop significantly. You will probably be able to get a nice one for $20,000 or less. Let us know if you have any other question. Good Luck!!!
