How Much Should I Pay: 2008 Ford Fusion

Question From Bergit: Should i wait until the 2009 fusions are out for a better deal i am interrested in a 4 door automatic basic how much should the dealers discount be

MuscleCarGuy: Hi Bergit, Welcome to AutoBragBlog, where we do all the car price researching for you. The 2009 Ford Fusion will be release later this year, if you want to wait a couple more months to get a new car you will probably get better deals on the 2008 Ford Fusion. Below are some No-Haggle prices for the Fusion.

For a 2008 Ford Fusion I-4 S 4dr Sedan (2.3L 4cyl 5A),

The Biggest Percentage Off MSRP Price: $17,450.00
MSRP: $21,385.00
ePrice: $17,450.00
Savings: $3,935.00
% OFF MSRP: 18.40 %

2nd Biggest Percentage Off MSRP Price: $17,611.00
MSRP: $21,455.00
ePrice: $17,611.00
Savings: $3,844.00
% OFF MSRP: 17.92 %

How do you apply these prices?

Print out all the blue links and take them to your local Ford dealerships. But before you go, we highly recommend you call and make an appointment to see the Internet Sales/Fleet Manager because he/she should know exactly what you’re talking about. Avoid the floor salesmen, head straight to the Internet Sales Manager.

If they don’t believe your prices, ask to use one of their computers so they can see where these figures came from. It’ll be impossible for them to doubt you because you’re pulling up a Ford dealership’s website and checking their inventory. Remember, cars are a commodity so these prices apply everywhere in the U.S. This car in New York should cost the same in California. The taxes vary by state.

    Hi Bergit,

The ePrice includes the $2,500 cash incentive from Ford. Wait a couple more months and you will probably get a better deal after the 2009 model is release.

You can ask us again for the best price for the 08 model when the 09 is out.
