How Much Should I Pay: 2007 Honda Accord
Question From Barb: Hi! It’s Barbi again… I found a 2007 Honda Accord 4 sedan EX with 18,336 miles (leather interior). It’s Auto and navigation system. 4cyl. They are asking 22,500.00 which I’m sure is high but I’m not sure what I should expect to pay for this vehicle.

Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $18,300 to $21,000. These prices do not include the navigation, so it should range a bit higher.
$22,500 is ridiculous. One reader today got a used car dealer to take it from $18k to $14k in one sentence, “I’ll buy it today if you sell it to me for $14k.” So aim for the lowest possible. It never hurts to try.
