How Much Should I Pay: 2007 Honda Accord

Question From Rob: I was searching for Honda Accords and I found a 2007 Honda Accord EX (4 cyl) with leather interior and navigation system. The car has approx 18,000 miles and the price is $22,500.00. What should this particular vehicle cost and is the cost too high?
Thanks!
Rob
MuscleCarGuy: Hi Rob. Welcome to AutoBragBlog, where we do all the car price researching for you. Is the 2007 Honda Accord a Sedan or Coupe?
For a 2007 Honda Accord EX Coupe 4 Cylinder with 18,000 miles, prices range from $18,600 (being in above average condition) to $17,100 (being in average condition) and $15,600 (being in below average condition). Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $17,500 to $21,200.
For a 2007 Honda Accord EX Sedan 4 Cylinder with 18,000 miles, prices range from $19,000 (being in above average condition) to $17,800 (being in average condition) and $16,600 (being in below average condition). Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $18,600 to $21,700.
Are you buying from a Dealer or Private Party? What is the condition of the car? If the car is in average condition you should negotiate it down to $20,000.00. Make sure to check CarFax and do plenty of research on the history of the vehicle. Ask for their maintenance records. You can even bring a mechanic for a brief inspection. Good luck and keep us posted on how the purchase goes! Don’t forget to tell your friends and family about our free personal service.

The Honda Accord EX is a 4 dr Sedan and the salesman did say that it’s in excellent condition. He will also give me the CARFAX info as I had requested. he did say that this is the internet price, although he had to put me on hold to take a look at the car. Does this sound like an internet cost to you?
Thanks~
