Question For AutoBrag: Best Van For $20k OTD

Question From Mariquinn: Not sure if this is the best place to post and ask this, but here goes.

I have $20,000 OTD to spend within the next 30 days on my next vehicle.
No trade in (I am at lease end and turning in my 06 Honda Odyssey).
My last 4 cars were Honda Odyssey’s, my kids say NO MORE!
I have three kids at home, withtwo kids still in booster seats (ages 5,7,12) and one away in college.
I am willing to try another brand van, 4 door truck or SUV.
I am going to buy, not lease.
I have about $1300 worth of GM card credits to use towards a GM purchase (not mandatory to use).
I prefer to buy new with a long bumper-to-bumper warranty and longer engine warranty.
I will purchase on the last day of the month if to get a better deal.
I would like rebates, not the financing deals.
I am in Florida with a 7% sales tax and do not need many options except A/C and power windows/doors.

What is the best possible vehicle deal I should be TARGETING out there for $20,000 OTD for a 2008 or 2009, any color, any model SUV, roomy 4-door truck or Minivan by any brand with a long warranty and decent reviews and reliability???

Thank you!

Queen of the Road:  Hello there! Welcome to our blog. Since your budget is unable to strech past $20k OTD, quality and reliability is borderline. You’ll have to spend another thousand for the good ones, such as the Sienna. Anything below that are brand names that don’t quite ever make it to the “Most Reliable” or “Most Whatever” lists.

Luckily, the following minivans below are rated the best minivans for 2008 and they’re around your range. Following them are the lowest prices I’ve found from AutoBrag.com, some of which has a financial incentive already included. The reason I listed only 2008s is because dealers are trying to get them off their lots for the 2009s. So discounts will be juicier with the 2008s. Choose a few, reply in the comment box and then I’ll get my hands wet.

    Thank you for the list!

Well I just bought the Nissan Quest tonight.

I settled on the S with drivers pkg, seat pkg, flaps and mats for $17100 + $599 dealer fee + TTT (taxes 7%).

The MSRP stuck on the window of the car (with the dealer added stuff) was $30,095.

My OTD price was $19,165,75. I also received $600 in gas cards.

It has a build date of June 2008. I was the first one (and only one) to test drive it, it still was wrapped up inside and out and now has the 8 miles I put on it. Color: Nordic Pearl White color.

Great deal… I was offered $15600 for the base 3.5 and $16200 for the base S model too.

    I am happy!
