How Much Should I Pay: 2008 Lexus GS350

Question: 2008 Lexus GS350 AWD with 8,500 miles (dealer demo)

Queen of the Road: Hi there! Welcome to AutoBragBlog! Sure, we’ve got wholesale Lexus prices.

For a 2008 Lexus GS350 Sedan AWD with 8,500 miles, prices range from $41,600 (being in above average condition) to $38,800 (being in average condition) and $36,100 (being in below average condition).

Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $39,500 to $45,400.

What price did they offer you?

Dealer offered $45,500 – the car in question has options that take the MSRP to roughly $55,500. This included the ML sound system, G spider wheels, and a series of other upgrades. I am waiting for incentives to hit for the 2008 models – not sure if this will be soon but it seems odd that all other Lexus models have some sort of incentive (for both 2008 and 2009 models). Thanks for your help!

They’ll have incentives because they’re being sold as brand new, not dealer demos. $45,500 could be taken down a bit. Goodluck!
