How Much Should I Pay: 2008 Honda CR-V
![]()
Question From Denise: WE are looking at a 2008 CRV AW EX-L left over. MSFP is around $27,000.00. They have it marked down to 25,486. How low can we get this car for since 2010 will be coming out in a month?
Queen of the Road: Welcome to AutoBragBlog, Denise! Let’s see here…
The savings off MSRP is: $1,514
% off MSRP: 5.6%
Compared to the 2009 deals, the maximum discount is 9.94% ( savings of $2,881) and the average discount is 6.65% ( savings of $1,833). Since 2008 savings should be more (especially the month before the 2009s emerge), you should be able to get a better discount than the one offered to you.
I won’t be able to compare a deal because this is the only EX-L trim we have available at the moment: EX-L 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A)
It’s not AWD. Would you still like to see prices regardless? Please reply your answer in the comment box of the post and I’ll get started on comparing deals. Have you tried placing an anonymous bid through Braggle?
AutoBrag created a system called Braggle that allows car shoppers in the U.S. the ability to place anonymous offers to all dealerships within a 25 to 200 mile radius within your zip code.
That means consumers save time and money while dealerships get to compete for your business. This is all done through without dealerships gaining your contact information. Once an offer is accepted or a counteroffer has been sent, we’ll notify you. It’s basically a virtual negotiation.
The service is free of charge and all that’s needed is your email address to contact you when an offer is accepted. There’s no obligation to buy even if your offer is accepted.
