Questions To Ask Yourself Before Buying A Car

Buying a new car is not something that should be rushed into. When choosing a new car, make sure to choose a model that is right for you, your family and your lifestyle. Make sure you ask yourself the RIGHT questions before narrowing down your search. Here are some to start…
Who is the car for? Just you, or also your family, kids and pet dog?
What will you be using the car for, just for driving to work or also for other activities?
What models will best fit all of those needs?
What is your budget range? Look online for price quotes in that range.
What are the safety and reliability ratings for those models?
What is the fuel economy for those models?
Most importantly, consider test driving them first to see which one feels the most comfortable to drive.

You simply have to be able say ‘no, thanks at that price’ at least once to the dealer. This gives them a strong message that you are serious about your research.
You should also bring a piece of paper to the dealership and make sure you do all the math of the finance calculations yourself. The point is not that they will do the math wrong. The point is you will see exactly how the deal is structured. Do not be afraid to take the time to do this or look like a fool for mapping out your car deal in the dealership.
