Queen of the Road: Hi there.Welcome to AutoBragBlog!
I think you can knock off a little more. I’m not sure if you can get as much as $1,200 off, but go for it! If you don’t, it looks like you’ve just about hit the maximum % off MSRP.
According to AutoBrag’s statistics for the 2009 Tahoe,
The National Average discount off MSRP: 8.78%
The National Maximum discount off MSRP: 16.47%
MSRP: $57,970
ePrice: $52,881
Savings: $5,089
% OFF MSRP: 8.78%
MSRP: $57,970
ePrice: $48,423
Savings: $ 9,547
% OFF MSRP: 16.47%
How To Calculate The % Off MSRP: MSRP – Selling Price = X / MSRP = Y
Selling Price = The price the dealership is willing to sell the new car for. Excluding tax, registration and dealer fees
X = the dollar amount saved off MSRP
Y = the % off MSRP (Move the decimal point over two digits to the right and that’s the percentage you’re saving.) Goodluck and keep us posted!

I want to buy a 2009 tahoe ls, the sticker price is about $37,000. There is a $6,000 rebate, bringing price down to $31,000. How much should I pay for the Tahoe and still make a good deal?
