When buying off lease vehicles the things to look for are the same as purchasing any used vehicle.
It is always a good idea to be “better safe than sorry” and bring the car to a certified mechanic. Yes, it is an extra step and will cost a few bucks but it’s worth it. However, with that being said the “general consensus” is that off lease cars are usually in better condition than normal used cars. The theory being car leasers know they are liable for any damages they cause during the term of their lease and take better care of their vehicles.
