Question For AutoBrag: Sales Tactic?

Question From Cynthia: I have a 2004 Toyota Highlander I received a letter stating that a local dealer would give me the “NADA factory ’s base model MSRP list price for this vehicle @ 100% if I buy a new trade in. They also indicated that I would get other available discounts. The additional write up says that the 100% would be adjusted for mileage and reconditioning. This does not sound like 1000% – however I digress. How would I find out what this price would be? (Short of actually going in?)
Thanks
Queen of the Road: Hi Cynthia. Welcome to AutoBragBlog!
Sounds a bit strange. It would be better to see how much the dealer is offering you for your for the car. However, this sounds like a sales tactic to get you into the dealership.
