How Much Should I Pay: 2010 Honda CR-V

Question: How much should I Pay for a 2010 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 5A) in Texas (New)? Dealership has MSRP at $27,225 with an E-Price of $25,556.
Queen of the Road: Hi there! Welcome to AutoBragBlog. Sounds like a savings of about 6.13% off MSRP. Looks good to me!
According to AutoBrag’s statistics for the 2010 CR-V,
The National Average discount off MSRP: 2.38%
The National Maximum discount off MSRP: 6.85%

I paid over $33,000 for a new 2010 Opal Green Metallic CR-V EX-L. I added: Rear Spoiler, splash guards, rear cargo storage bin, fog lights, woodgrain interior dash kit, side trim in Opal Sage with matching door guards, paint and interior “polish”/clean package that dealership was offering, remote start, and rear day/night mirror.
I also took the vehicle directly to Discount Tire and had new Michelin LX4 tires put on that are taller and wider.
I LOVE THIS CAR!! (but I believe I paid too much)I traded in my 2006 Subaru LL Bean Edition with 14,470 actual miles on it (dealership indicated they were “giving me” $13,000 for the Subaru) along with $9,000 in Cash. I am financing a little over $11,000 with Honda

P.S. Before I purchased this CR-V, I looked at the Saturn Vue, Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX, Jeep Patriot, Jeep Liberty, Chevrolet Equinox, Ford Escape, Mercury Mariner, Subaru Forester, and Toyota RAV.
The Opal Sage Green Metallic is what I loved the most … no other car offers a green of anykind. It is a stand out looking car and I LOVE IT!!
