How Much Should I Pay: 2007 Acura TL

Question: Two cars for you to ponder, same identical cars, but different histories. How much should I pay for a used 2007 Acura TL Type-S with approximately 43k miles, automatic, through a dealer? One car came from end of lease, regular maintenance religiously at same dealership in PA, the other car was bought at auction by dealer, certified, but was involved with some accident according to carfax, previous owner lived in florida, made lots of trips to ny and back…wasn’t regularly maintained at dealership. What to pay for each? VIN numbers are : 19UUA76547A008xxx and 19UUA76557A004xxxx. Thanks for your help!
Queen of the Road: Hi Angel. Welcome to AutoBragBlog! Don’t even bother with the 2nd Acura that has an accident in it’s history.
As for the 1st one… For a 2007 Acura TL Sedan Type-S with 43,000 miles, wholesale prices range from $25,000 (being in above average condition) to $22,700 (being in average condition) and $20,400 (being in below average condition). A fair range for a dealership sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $22,600 to $27,600. A private seller will usually aim to sell it for 5%-10%.
