For a 2001 Acura MDX 4WD Touring with 64,350 miles, prices range from $12,750 (being in above average condition) to $11,600 (being in average condition) and $10,450 (being in below average condition). You were quoted $14.8k. If you talk it down below $12.5, then it might be worthy.

The average condition price is $10,550 with 95,900 miles.
For 75k miles, that car could be bought for $11.8-$12 at auction.

The price shuold vary if the car has luxurious options added. Has the vehicle ever been salvaged? Be sure to follow up with a Carfax report if you do decide to pursue this Acura. Did you find this offer at a dealership or private party? Overall I’d say this is a good deal but try $11,800 with $12,000 being the top and see how it goes.
