Queen of the Road: Hello there. Let’s get you some Acura wholesale prices.

For a 2001 Acura MDX with 75,000 miles, wholesale prices range from $8,500 (being in above average condition) to $7,500 (being in average condition) and $6,500 (being in below average condition). A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $7,50 to $9,600. A private seller will usually aim to sell it for 5%-10%.

For a 2001 Acura MDX with 100,000 miles, wholesale prices range from $8,100 (being in above average condition) to $7,100 (being in average condition) and $6,100 (being in below average condition). A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $8,400 to $11,300. A private seller will usually aim to sell it for 5%-10%.

For a 2002 Acura MDX with 100,000 miles, wholesale prices range from $9,100 (being in above average condition) to $7,800 (being in average condition) and $6,500 (being in below average condition). A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $7,400 to $10,300. A private seller will usually aim to sell it for 5%-10%.

How Much Should I Pay: 2002 Acura MDX

July 15th, 2008

Question From Schlab: Hi,
2002 Acura MDX touring with 114,000 miles, VIN 2HNYD18652H518250.

Dealer is asking $9955.

Thanks!

Queen of the Road: Hi there. Welcome to AutoBragBlog! $10k is on the high side. I wouldn’t settle at that price. Here’s why…

For a 2002 Acura MDX 4WD Touring with 114,000 miles, wholesale prices range from $9,100 (being in above average condition) to $7,800 (being in average condition) and $6,500 (being in below average condition). Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices.

If you are buying from a dealer you should expect to pay +12%-14% more than wholesale.  A dealership’s estimated retail prices could range from $7.6k to $10.4k.

Have you tried seaching through private parties? If you were to buy from a private party, you should expect to pay only +5%-10% over wholesale market. If you do decide to purchase that car, be sure to do plenty of research on the car. Let us know if you or any of your friends have any questions. Good Luck, Schlab!!!
