Queen of the Road: Hi Jade. Welcome to our blog. Here you go…

For a 2006 Ford F150 PickUp 4WD V8 Ext Cab 5.4L XLT with 36,300 miles, wholesale prices range from $13,500 (being in above average condition) to $12,000 (being in average condition) and $10,600 (being in below average condition).

A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $12,000 to $15,100. A private seller will usually aim to sell it for 5%-10%.

$17,000 is a rip off. Talk the price down and if they don’t budge, then walk away. Remember that the consumer has the power.

How Much Should I Pay: Ford Escape Hybrid

June 4th, 2008

Question From Jay: How is Ford Escape hybrid & prices also

MuscleCarGuy: Hi Jay, Welcome to AutoBragBlog, where we do all the car price researching for you.

The Ford Escape Hybrid is the best option if you are looking for a fuel-efficient small SUV. A two-wheel-drive Escape Hybrid should be able to deliver close to 30 mpg in real-world city and highway driving.

At the moment we don’t have prices for a new Ford Escape Hybrid that is probably because with the high prices for the gas the Hybrids are in big demand and dealers are trying to make their money off the best fuel-efficient vehicles. Below are prices for used Ford Escapes on the wholesale market.

For a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid 2WD with 12,000 miles, prices range from $26,300 (being in above average condition) to $24,600 (being in average condition) and $23,000 (being in below average condition). Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $25,700 to $29,900.

For a 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid 2WD with 19,000 miles, prices range from $23,500 (being in above average condition) to $21,000 (being in average condition) and $18,600 (being in below average condition). Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $20,800 to $26,800.

For a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid 2WD with 36,000 miles, prices range from $19,700 (being in above average condition) to $17,000 (being in average condition) and $14,300 (being in below average condition). Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $16,000 to $22,500.

How Much Should I Pay: 2006 Ford Fusion (Updated)

May 5th, 2008

This Is An Update To A Previous Question

Follow Up Comment:  Looking at a 2006 Ford Fusion SE. They are asking $15500.00 It has 23000 miles. Is that a good price? It’s a 4C with side air bags. Thanks, Karen

Queen of the Road: Hi Karen. Yikes! The seller is aiming pretty high. Is this a price from a dealership or private seller? The price is marked up too high.

For a 2006 Ford Fusion SE with 23,000 miles, prices range from $13,100 (being in above average condition) to $11,800 (being in average condition) and $10,500 (being in below average condition).

Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $11,800 to $14,600. So ask for much much less. Ain for wholesale and if the seller is too stubborn, keep car shopping because that $15.5k is ridiculous. If you stumble across another car, run the prices through our team of experts and we’ll be happy to help you. Best of luck, Karen!

Queen of the Road:  Hi Karen. Alright! Let’s get you some prices and save you some $money$! But before I begin I need to know if the Fusion is a V6 or 4C. Does it come with side air bags?
