Question From Bruce: I saw a 06 Black 9-3 2.0T with 27K in miles at dealer 5 speed with nav I think can be had at 15K- Very Tempted- What do you think?

Queen of the Road: Hi Bruce.

For a 2006 SAAB 9-3 4C Sedan ARC 5SP with 27,000 miles, wholesale prices range from $13,700 (being in above average condition) to $11,700 (being in average condition) and $9,700 (being in below average condition).
A fair range for a dealership sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $10,900 to $15,200. A private seller will usually aim to sell it for 5%-10%

This Is An Update From A Previous Question

Question From Nidhi: Thank you for your help!

We ended up buying a 2006 Saab 9-3 2.0T (33000 miles) with several options(auto trans, interior upgrade, upgraded sound, new tires, exterior aerodynamic package) for 13,700 out the door including all taxes and dealer fees. The dealer was originally asking 16100 out the door. What do you think of this deal?

I had an independent mechanic check the car and autocheck was completely clean for this car.

This Is An Update To A Previous Question

Follow Up Comment: Thanks so much for the help. I did want to ask about the fact that this vehicle is a Certifed Pre Owned vehicle. Does that add to your estimated cost at all?

One more bit of info to throw out at you, the Saab also has some extra’s including 6 disc cd changer, xenon headlights and a moon roof, heated/power front seats. When buying wholesale at an auction (this was purchased at an auction by the dealer) do these options add to the wholesale price?
