How Much Should I Pay: 2007 Lexus RX350 (Updated)

November 14th, 2008

Question: how much should I pay for a 2007 lexus rx350 - certified, pre-owned from a Lexus dealer? About 24000 miles

Follow Up Comment:  I am looking at a 2WD. My 2008 Lexus RX350 was just totaled in an accident (other driver ran a red light) and I am looking to replace with either a 2007, 2008, or 2009, same model. I want the best deal I can get. Also wondering how much the other drivers insurance company will give me for my totaled car: 2008 Lexus RX350, 13k miles, 2 WD, absolutely perfect condition. Didn’t have nor do I want the nav system. I am in Austin, TX.

Queen of the Road: Hello. Welcome to our blog.

For a 2007 Lexus RX350 2WD with 24,000 miles, wholesale prices range from $25,900 (being in above average condition) to $24,200 (being in average condition) and $22,500 (being in below average condition). A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $24,800 to $28,400. A private seller will usually aim to sell it for 5%-10%.

Sorry about your accident and it’s a good thing that you’re not hurt. It’s tough to say what the insurance company will give you because there are so many variables to factor in when inspecting the damage on your car.

What was the offer for the 2007? Is it from a private party or dealership? Be sure to check carfax and do plenty of research on the history of each vehicle. Ask for their maintenance records. You can even bring a mechanic for a brief inspection. Goodluck and if you come across another car you’d like prices for, just ask away.

Queen of the Road: Hi Danielle. Welcome to AutoBragBlog! I can definitely help you with Lexus wholesale prices.

A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $24.6k to $31k. A private seller will usually aim to sell it for 5%-10%.

How Much Should I Pay: 2007 Lexus RX350

November 25th, 2007

Question: Please advise on the following:

1.
Make: Lexus
Model: RX 350 or RX330 / AWD
Year: 2006-2008
Option: Leather with Navigation
Mileage: New or used

2.
Make: Acura
Model: RDX
Year: 2007
Option: Leather with Navigation (Tech package)
Mileage: New

Also, is $36500 for a RX 350 - 2007 - 16k miles with Nvigation system/leather a good price? Is it ok to buy from an auction?

Thanks in advance.

MuscleCarGuy: For a 2007 Lexus RX350 AWD with 16K miles, prices range from $35,800 (being in above average condition) to $34,000 (average condition) to $32,200 (being in below average condition). Keep in mind that these are average wholesale prices. The one that you asked for $36,500, it is before or after taxes? If the car is in average condition, this car is probably around $2,500 over average wholesale price.

Unfortunately, there are currently no new Acura’s in our system. If you have any other cars that you might be interested in, please let us know.

For the used market on this 2007 Acura RDX AWD 4cyl Turbo with average of 8,300 miles, the wholesale prices range from $30,900 (being in above average condition) to $29,900 (average condition) to $28,800 (being in below average condition).
