How Much Should I Pay: 2008 Cadillac Escalade (Updated)

October 21st, 2008

Question From Rebecca:  I am looking to get a cadillac escalade esv. 2007-2008 with under 30,000 miles. I do not need a new car at this time but would like to take advantage on the current market. I want to get the best deal I can. Can you help me?

Queen of the Road:  Of course I can help you! That’s what AutoBragBlog is all about. I gave you a range of Cadillac wholesale prices if the car were at 30,000 miles.

For a 2008 Cadillac Escalade ESV 2wd with 30,000 miles, prices range from $45,200 (being in above average condition) to $43,900 (being in average condition) and $42,700 (being in below average condition). Keep in mind that the numbers above are the wholesale prices. A dealership will usually aim to sell it for +12%-14% more than wholesale, so their estimated retail prices could range from $46,800 to $49,500.

Have you found one you’re interested in buying yet?

Thanks you very much.

Queen of the Road: Hi there! I can find you Cadillac and Infiniti deals, but we are currently working very hard with Acura dealerships to obtain car prices for our system. We should have some Acura deals in the near future. I researched the Infiniti deals and recommend waiting another day or so till a batch of next G35 deals are refreshed. In the meantime…

How do you apply these prices?  Print out all the blue links and take them to your local dealerships. But before you go, we highly recommend you call and make an appointment to see the Internet Sales/Fleet Manager because he/she should know exactly what you’re talking about. Avoid the floor salesmen, head straight to the Internet Sales Manager.

If they don’t believe your prices, ask to use one of their computers so they can see where these figures came from. It’ll be impossible for them to doubt you because you’re pulling up a dealership’s website and checking their inventory. Remember, cars are a commodity so these prices apply everywhere in the U.S. This car in New York should cost the same in Texas. The taxes vary by state. Keep us posted with how everything goes.
