How Much Should I Pay: 2007 Volvo S60 & 2008 Volvo S40

August 28th, 2009

Question From Lesie: Thanks for the confirmation that we did the right thing with the last offer. I felt fine about walking away, haven’t thought much more about it since but I’m glad to know your input!

I have two more possiblities I’m going to go look at:

2008 Volvo S40 2.4i with 16,522 miles (dealership is asking $21,491)
or
2007 Volvo S60 2.5T with 35,513 miles (dealership is asking $21,991)

Both are pre-owned certified cars. Do your suggested prices give consideration to the warranty certification (which the dealership told us was worth $2,000)?

How Much Should I Pay: 2008 Volvo XC90

January 14th, 2008

Question: We are in the market for a mid-sized SUV and safety is a major concern. Based on the research that we have conducted, the Volvo XC90 appears to be a good choice. However they are soooo expensive.

Please let me know what the best price is that you have been able to find. I would be interested in either buying or leasing, and if the numbers were attractive enough I might be willing to get two of them.

Thanks in advance for your help.
