How Much Should I Pay: 2008 Nissan Altima

May 11th, 2009

Question from Fathi: what is the price of Nissan Altima 2.5 S 4dr 2008

Queen of the Road: Hi Fathi. Welcome to AutoBragBlog!

It looks like the only Altima deals we have available for the sedan are 2.5 Sedans. It’s very difficult to determine an OTD price off the bat considering each state’s taxes, dealer fees, registration, etc. The price you should pay all depends on the MSRP of the Altima you’re looking at. If you see a Altima online or at a dealership, send me the MSRP and I’ll send you a price range to help you bargain. Below are a few of the best internet prices we’ve found to show real deals and their discounts…

How Much Should I Pay: 2009 Hyundai Sonata

May 4th, 2009

Question From Nancy: How much should I pay for a new 2009 Hyundai Sonata SE 4dr Sedan Automatic with no add-on packages? I’ve found the FL dealers are wanting $18,500 or just under $20,000 for the out-the door price, I think that includes the only extras, which are floor mats and mud guards (do I really need mud guards??). FL has a 6% sales tax, the rest is dealer prep, and tag.

Queen of the Road: Hi Nancy! Welcome to AutoBragBlog. Hyundai deals are off the roof right now. You picked a good car to drive right now.

How Much Should I Pay: 2009 Hyundai Sonata

April 16th, 2009

Question From Karen: Hello, I am wondering what I should be paying-OTD-for a 2009 Sonata GLS 4dr Sedan with no extras except the pearl white paint (they charge extra for this color for some reason!).

I am also not opposed to going out of state, say to CT, NY or NJ to buy, as from what I’ve read, people seem to be getting much better deals there than the offers that I have gotten so far in RI and Mass.

How Much Should I Pay: 2009 Ford Fusion

April 15th, 2009

Question: I’ M looking at a 2009 Ford Fusion V6 SEL with an MSRP of $27,100. My quote back from the dealer was $395 for 72 months. How does that look?

Queen of the Road: Hi there! Welcome to AutoBragBlog!

Before negotiating monthly payments, it’s important that you settle on a Selling Price first. (Selling Price is the price that the dealership is willing to sell the new car for excluding tax, registration and dealer fees.) It’s a little trick to get you to pay more total. Don’t fall for it. Get the Selling Price first!
